We have been producing theatre for young people for the last 23 years. When the company was first set up, its very first show was DOWN AT THE DUMP. Since then we have created 25 new productions.

Initially the company toured mostly to schools in Bristol and the surrounding region. We have steadily built an excellent reputation for consistently high quality work, and our work tours nationally as well as locally. Roughly half the annual performances are now given in theatre venues to family audiences; national tours include venues from Cornwall to Aberdeen, with international touring to Romania, Korea and beyond.

As the company grew and developed, it became clear that we needed to bring education expertise in to enhance the work that was on offer. Since appointing the first education officer in 2001, education work has grown from strength to strength. We also began running two youth theatre groups in 2003 in the New Deal area of Bristol. This has now expanded to three thriving youth theatre groups.
